John Hearne is a writer from Wexford, which is in Ireland. His debut middle grade novel, ‘The Very Dangerous Sisters of Indigo McCloud’, was published to critical acclaim in 2021. His second  novel, a sci-fi adventure called 'Someone's Been Messing with Reality' is out now. Think 'Stranger Things' but in an Irish seaside village.

He has worked as an editor and ghost writer for many years, helping to create a wide variety of books for a wide variety of people.

He dislikes pina coladas but, living in Galway, has gotten used to getting caught in the rain and has stopped giving out about it.
